Oil Palm Research and Reviews (OPRR)
An international leading journal on oil palm.

The Oil Palm Research and Reviews (OPRR) is a peer-reviewed, open access journal in all areas of Oil Palm Research and Reviews and related disciplines. The objective of this journal is to provide a veritable platform for scientists, researchers, academicians, professionals and students engaged in research in oil palm industries all over the world to promote, share, and discuss a variety of innovative ideas and developments in all aspects of Oil Palm Research and Reviews.  The Journal welcomes the submission of manuscripts that meet the general criteria of significance and scientific excellence. All articles published in OPRR are peer-reviewed.

The Oil Palm Research and Reviews (OPRR) is published 3 times a year (three volume per year: April, August and December) published by Sawit Centre. The following types of papers are considered by the Journal for publication:

• Original articles in basic and applied research related to oil palm
• Case studies related to oil palm
• Critical reviews, surveys, opinions, commentaries and essays related to oil palm

Open Access
Oil Palm Research and Reviews (OPRR)  is an open access journal. Abstracts and full texts of all articles published in the journal can be read online without any form of restriction.

Article Processing Charges
In an open access model, the publication costs of an article are paid from an author's research budget, or by their supporting institution, in the form of Article Processing Charges. These Article Processing Charges replace subscription charges and allow publishers to make the full-text of every published article freely available to all interested readers. In addition, authors who publish in journals retain the copyright of their work, which is released under a “Creative Commons Attribution License,” enabling the unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction of an article in any medium, provided that the original work is properly cited.

Authors are required to pay a handling fee of US $ 25.00 (twenty five dollar only) upon acceptance.  However, there are no submission charges. Authors are required to make payment ONLY after their manuscripts have been reviewed and accepted for publication. 

Archiving

• Open Journal Systems supports the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system to ensure a secure and permanent archive for journal content. 
• Open Journal Systems also supports the CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system to ensure a secure and permanent archive for the journal
